Apple II software?

We have recently tried to post messages regarding our software in this
newsgroup and our listing of the postings, on "tin," shows the postings
have not been appearing, but we have recently received a complaining
message from a "Peter Pushkarich," ppuskari@magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu
that he objects because he "supports" the Apple II "more than most" and
claims to be a "GS Developer, II GS Power User and equipment hacker." I
have serious doubt that Mr., or Dr., Pushkarich has a clue regarding the
meaning of "support." For the record:

We have been in the educational software supplemental materials, film
and computer software business since 1960 and I have over 300 screen
credits in this medium with most of the work for such companies as The
Society For Visual Education, Encyclopaedia Britannica Films, Inc.,
Universal Education and Visual Arts, Doubleday & Company, Harcourt -
Brace - Jovanovich, Sea World, Prentice Hall, United ROA Films and a few
other smaller companies. I moved into computer software in 1981 after
making the judgement the Apple II would dominate this field and have
written or edited for release over 300 programs in 12 years. I have been
a vendor to the Apple Computer Company and one of their official
developers until they tried to charge me an annual fee for that "honor"
at which point I made an obscene gesture directed Cupertino way and have
heard little from them since.

We make good products, guarantee them 100% for life and in spite of
the fact that they are copyable we accept returns when users express real
objections. Most of those regard the level of the material as we are
generally secondary level producers and have many elementary teachers buy
our disks out of desparation, try them and find they are just not right
for the very young. We are not surprised; they were not designed for the
very young, but we now have some GS disks that are very good in young
users hands as they can manage the mouse.

The point of my posting this objection to Mr., or Dr., Pushkarich'
complaint is that it is much the same kind of trantrum as that seen at
the roadside mailbox when the suburban homeowner ventilates rage on
seeing a box containing "junk mail," as he rages into the otherwise
pleasant morning, but buried therein is the house mortgage, property tax
and monthly garbage service fee, the total of which will eat his
paycheck, and maybe more. I put it to you that his rage is misplaced and
it really should be directed at the system. However, this is an analogy
and I cannot directly apply it to Mr., or Dr., Puskarich' fury at our
notifying you of the availability of our excellent line of low-priced disks.

We are here posting this as could not respond directly, and privately,
to Mr., or Dr., Pushkarich as his account would not accept Email. It is
probably one of those one-way university hook-ups for which he does not
pay and cannot be held responsible. Whatever, we are responsbile and
ready to send free catalogs to any, and all, who may wish to see what we
have after 12 years of very real, and not imagined, support of this line.

We have spent over $500,000 advertising and promoting this line so you
would know it exists. I wonder what Mr., or Dr., Pushkarich has spent in
his "support" of the Apple II? I would be willing to bet it would not
add up to $1.00.
