2QWK! updating

Luigi moaned in anticipation of my whip:

L| Hello... I recently downloaded 2qwk! offline mail reader for my II
  | and am quite excited that it actually works...

Hiya, 2qwk!'s resident //e version beta-tester here. Glad you like. :)

L| I may have just missed it, but I didn't see the author's email
  | address in the docs so I'll post my request for a new version here

Yes, very end. It's changed, since Pro-Greens is dead. Tom's now found
at "tom.larson@pcwash.com". No new official release since 1.24 but stay
tuned (I've said this for awhile!) since as you can see by the tagline
there IS indeed progress going on to upgrade/update it.

L| A few things to fix: The subjects in my emails are getting cut off
  | at about 25 characters, I believe, but some should be up to 40
  | chars long... That needs to be extended.

I mentioned that once. Nothing has changed in present developments, but
I do agree fully (never mind the subjects, it's the NAME/ADDRESS that
gets cut off of Internet subs like this, and that's my complaint!).

  | When I'm looking through the list of messages in a base, there is
  | no space between the message # and the subject's first word so it
  | looks like "175409Hello" for example...

Don't know what to tell you on that one. The usual complaint on no
spaces is when @f or @1 ignores the "@" in Internet addresses. This has
been fixed (now they're @@x variables). As said, stay tuned.

  | I think there was something else but I can't think of it right
  | now...

Hey, glad to hear from you. Tom pops in here occasionally and fellow
beta-tester Dennis McC-F (dynosor) may likewise comment to your post.
