I have never seen a CRC error message from SCIIBIN (running on a Sun)
unless there really was something wrong with the file.
If you are getting CRC errors on files which are known to be correct,
it probably means there is something in the source code that needs to
be modified to make it work properly on your machine.
For example, the source code makes several assumptions about the size
of data types (all of which are reasonable).
