Doing it properly would also require reversing the order of text entry
(Hebrew goes right to left) and doing something special for the vowel
symbols.  [I'm not clear on how this works, exactly.]

My father has been playing around with this on his PC under Windows.
He uses a standard word processor, with an extension that reverses the
order of typing.  Before he had this, he wrote a simple Hebrew text
entry system using Visual BASIC.
