Help - Dead GS

The poor baby died this morning. We were net surfing all night last night,
and this morning, gone.

First few times at booting, we got several different errors including $0308.
I was able to switch it to boot from slot 5, and start with Prosel. The
files and the disk on the main HD volume checked fine. Then I rebooted from
the HD, and can get absolutely no response from the keyboard or mouse, and
got no error either.

Should I call $038f?

Wait. It wouldn't respond to the keyboard, but when the screen saver went
off, and I hit Return to bring the screen back, it worked! Now everything
else does too! I've just switched back and forth between Finder and a few
different P16 and P8 apps, and everything seems normal. Curiouser and
curiouser.

Well, I goofed pretty good in trying to test it rebooting -- I turned off
the entire desk, dropping carrier from the other machine, hence the joe
error message above. But it restarted just fine.

Any ideas? Hangover? She just had a headache this morning? St. Woz was
watching over us and healed it? As much as I'd like to sink into comfortable
denial, I'm afraid this time it might be a symptom of something that needs
attention. Comments welcome.
