  On the 1 screw //e style mouse, just undo the screw and pry up the
end where the screw was.  It hinges in the front.  On the 2 screw //e
style mouse. it's just the opposite.  Screws in the front come out, it
hinges on the bottom, opposite of the screws.

  No need to remove the ball and retainer first.
