They have quite a bit actually. We got Hardpressed (configurable realtime
disk compression & decompression), GNO is even more powerful, a SVGA card
named SecondSight is coming out of Sequential sometime, more rumors of
the TurboRez, bunches of new programs that you should be able to locate
on ftp at the large Apple II archive site grind.isca.uiowa.edu, and more.
Don't forget to read the other csa.* newsgroups that had birthed not too
long ago, csa.programmer, csa2.comm, csa2.usergroups.
: GNO actually execute some UNIX programs, or does it just LOOK like UNIX?
What is executing UNIX programs? No computer actually executes a UNIX
programs. They just run a compiled version of some source code. Sooo.
therefore, YES, GNO does execute UNIX programs whenever somebody has the
time to port the original C code. ;) David Empson already listed them
so I won't. I'll only say that I have a working beta version of gzip
running.
