Wrong.  Pure SmartPort loaders run a bit slower than P8 on the ROM 1 and a 
bit faster on the ROM 3 (note that P8 uses the SmartPort, or more accurately
the ProDOS firmware entry point which is almost identical speed-wise).

GS/OS running on my RamFAST rev D will blow away self-boot crap anyday :)
