Help--dead monitor!

We had a brief power outage yesterday while I was using my IIgs, and it
seems to have killed my monitor (the standard gs applecolor one).  I
tried replacing the fuse, which had blown, and promptly blew three
more--which would seem to indicate a problem elsewhere.  Since it would
cost upwards of $80-105 to take it to a shop, I would really like to
take care of this myself if at all possible.  Has anyone ever had this
happen to them before?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
