According to Tony Morales, the programmer of Sonobox, the NDA takes the best of
MODzap, soniqTRACKER, and ShellPlay and puts them all together in an NDA.

I think he used a lot of the ShellPlay code, but I think he also did a very
good job in improving sound quality, since I compared the two players, and
Sonobox seemed better.

Tony NEVER claimed to have written his own engine, just that this was the best
MOD player around, and I think he has satisfied the sound quality part of that
claim.

That's what I think, and I think it was a very good job, and we should commend
Tony for giving us this piece.  Just because Bryan says something as his
opinion, doesn't mean that's Tony's opinion or say as well (no flame on you
Bryan, just stating that your opinions have been exactly that - your opinions,
and you have never said Tony said anything, so you're in the clear :))

Bryan has simply stated that sonobox is a wonderful NDA with great sound
quality.  He is right that the sound quality is much better than MODzap and
soniqTracker (IMHO), and that it is a great program.

As I said, Tony never said he wrote the engine from scratch.  Actually, Tony
hasn't said anything on this newsgroup.  Let's not assume anything :)
