Some Questions Regarding AE DataLink Modems

I recently acquired a DataLink 2400 modem and have a few questions.

It appears that a couple of the ROMs have version numbers on them.
What is the latest version of those ROMs, and is there a significant
difference between versions that I should be aware of?

Isn't there a fax program that AE included for DataLink modems?  The
particular modem I have did not come with it.  Perhaps AE did not
include a fax program.. I may be thinking of something else.  :-)
