ModZAP is neither the most visually appealing nor the best sounding
mod-player; at least the version I've seen isn't. It chokes on many
effects and sounds terrible compared to the clean output of shellplay (I also
like the feature of mixing the left and right channels in 1% increments).
I find ModZap to be over garish and cluttered, compared to say the
consistent clean interfaces of soniqTracker and DocVu 2.0.

For my money, and as someone else has already said, DocVu and shellplay
is the best display of sound + visual effects. Unfortunate that its such
a messy patchwork approach though...

But, I don't want to rubbish any sincere effort in writing quality IIgs
software. All ModZap needs is a bit of polish and it should be great. I
look forward to its next garish-less incarnation.
