magneto optical on IIgs

I'm supposed to be getting a 230 mb magneto optical from the APS gang for the
ol' Quadra tomorrow. I was kinda wondering if anyone has used a MO or anything
else with APS' DAterm (digital active termination) on their IIgs. I might give
it a try on my IIgs if I can rest assured no sparks will fly or anything. I'm
using a HS SCSI if that makes much difference.
