The first and formost thing that you should do is to make sure you have
the proper modem cable. I make and sell hardware handshaking cables
specifically for the GS with use with ProTerm and they work great at
high speeds. They are made as specified by the ProTerm manual. That
usually solves most problems with high speed modems not working properly
on the GS. If you cannot find a hardware hand shaking cable, I can build
one custom made for you or anyone for that matter. I charge $12.00 which
includes shiping.
