Looks like you got a lemon. Removing all the other cards would have
avoided and potential conflicts that could have resulted in the white
screen. Try pressing down and wiggling all the chips that are in sockets.
(Ie, removable chips) One or more might not be fully connected to the
board. If that doesn't work, stop payment on the check.
