I've got the Apple II version of the ThunderScanner and really
like it! If'n I recall right the Apple II and Mac versions of the
hardware were not directly interchangable. Thnderware had an adapter
that let you use the II hardware on a Mac, but not the other way
around. One neat feature I liked about the software is you could
scan an image on an 8-bit II, and still display them in gray scale
on a GS. I had a IIc+ set up just for scanning for quite a while.
I'm tinkering with setting it up once again for a special project
I'm toying with.
