Yes, yes, that's what I plan to do. The 6809 will have its own RAM,
and both the 6809 and the 6502 will run at the same time. I'm not worried about
saving a buck on memory. I just want the 6809 to be able to control the
hardware and maybe write to the apple graphics memory. Basically I want to
flip a switch (soft or hard) and pop up the 6809 monitor/os I'll write and
back again. It doesn't need to be commercially refined.
As for the 65808, I don't know a thing about it, or the other 5 digit
6502 derivatives/enhancements. I stopped using the apple (until recently)
before they all came out. And I couldn't get the 65c02 to work in the II+.
Very erratic.
