DSK_IN.EXE-like util. for ProDOS disk images?

(sorry for cross-posting, but the gurus don't seem to be paying
 attension to c.e.a2 any more...)

I have been successful at transferring disk images to and from my //e,
and importing/exporting files from/to disk image files for various
emulators, so I am not a total newbie or anything...

I have downloaded a bunch of BinSCII-ed and ShrinkIt-ed ProDOS files
that I'd like to use with my emulators and my //e (and //c and ][+...),
but I can't find a utility to do the transfer. DSK_IN.EXE and DSK_OUT.EXE
are both for DOS 3.3, so they won't work... how can I do this?

I would like to be able to just dump a file into a ProDOS disk image, and
do the transfer to my Apple (at home) later. I don't have a comm program
for my Apple that agrees with my 486's idea of xmodem (MS-DOS or Linux)
so uploading the files to my Apple would be exceedingly difficult.

I am currently using a Sun Sparc20 with Solaris, using SunPC (an MS-DOS
emulator) to run a couple of Apple ][ emulators to do some of the
transfers, but there is no way to link the serial ports of either, since
they are both emulators. (yes, it really does work! (very slowly!) :)

The program can be MS-DOS based or Unix based... I can compile C source.

Any help, or even pointers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin
