Re: Jawaid Bazyar On Vacation

If anything on c.s.a2 needs moderating, it is Ian's god damn attitude.

Contract work with deadlines is not something you can just push off in favor
of "more interesting" work. In the real world, deadline extensions cost real
money to someone who has made plans based on the original schedule. In the
case of SS, it is Sequential. If Jawaid causes it to be delayed by working
on GNO, they won't care and Jawaid is in deep shit. It's that simple.

Frankly I find the idea that Jawaid would delay the enabling of GNO/TCP
any longer than he had to absolutely ludicrous. Yet Ian seems to be unable
to comprehend that something might be more important, even only temporarily.

Clearly Jawaid is so far under the gun that he can't possibly have enough
time to read news and post responses right now anyway, so everyone who
has gotten offended, please take a pill and relax until the SS release
date blows over and we can figure out how to get things back to "normal".

Where is the famed Apple II Comraderie? I don't see it anywhere around
here right now. This whole business is a textbook case of newsgroup
self-destruction waiting to happen, and it will if we don't chill out
(especially Ian) and re-engage our brains before posting.
