Stunned.  Shocked.  Saddened.  That about sums up my reaction to the
passing of Joe Kohn.

I hadn't been to the newsgroup or a2central.com for a while.  I
decided to head over to a2central.com during a break at work and saw
the message posted about Joe Kohn.  I immediately headed over to the
newsgroup and been reading the posts here.

Like many, I never met Joe.  I only knew Joe from his writing in
Incider, Shareware Solutions and his posts here.

He was definitely passionate about the Apple II and did best to the
"Apple II Forever".

I had hoped to meet Joe on one of his hiking expeditions but alas that
isn't going to happen.  Fortunately, I do live in the Bay Area and may
drop by the Joe's final resting place and give my condolances.  Anyone
know where specifically?  I read it somewhere.

As for Joe, he's probably hanging around watching us talk about him
and smiling.  Hopefully, Joe's got an Apple IIGS with him wherever
he's at!  Rest in peace Joe!
