VGA card

        I was amazed to see in the description of the VGA card one line 
which said it worked on a //e. Does this mean there are two cards or one 
card for both machines? In any event, once the card has been anounced as 
available I am buying one! It is good the card works with a //e. They 
haven't had anything new for years. Finally they will have resolution 
compatible with us GS owners.

        On another topic... We *MAY* have a computer show in Winnipeg 
sometime next spring. The president of our users group suggests if the 
show is a go we would participate. Would anybody have some suggestions 
for the show? If I get the VGA card by then it will be there. There may 
be one or two Zipped GSs there as well. Bear in mind this is a low budget 
thing for us. The group relies on the kindness of its members for 
equipment and software.

        BTW, Jawaid... When do you anticipate SLIP, PPP, or TCP/IP will 
be ready for GNO/ME? If it will be ready in time for the computer show I 
will talk with the president of the users group and suggest I bring along 
a linux box and connect it to a GS via nullmodem to run a small network.
Once you announce it, the moneyorder will be in the mail.
