I hate to reply to my own article, but I need to add that I'm not at all
against supporting the GS itself or the IIe itself or GNO or whatever. I
have TMTerm 2.0 all ready to go, with features like 32 windows open from 1
copy of the NDA, better vt100, better keyboard support, faster drawing, etc,
but it requires something known by the catch phrase "select() on ptys" to be
added to the GNO kernel, and Jawaid's refusing to do so on the grounds that
the Second Sight board is more important. (Derek Taubert's also almost ready
to use GS/TCP with SLIP, NFS, FTP, and telnet also requires this kernel
feature to work correctly). Therefore, I would suggest that the best thing
all you GNO users can do to get support is to tell Jawaid where to shove
the Second Sight, at least until GNO 2.1 is ready.
