Not on this end.. Guess it must be a solo sorta thing.

Are you admitting that you meant it sarcastically, or denying
it? I think there is only one other interpretation of the sentance,
and that would be that you _do_ think he is a genius. (Thinking
someone is a damn good programmer and thinking someone is a genius
aren't the same thing.)
: can't ask a question? Should I send my posts to you first in

: little-wannabe-tongue-in-cheek for a slam. Lighten up.
You can ask all the questions you want. You can say stupid
things if you want to. You can insult people left and right. But if
you think that people aren't going to say something when you put out
some bait, you better think again.
Obviously you mistook me telling to take a hike as some sort
of huge insult. Perhaps you should lighten up?

I thought it was very clear what you were saying.
: Thanks for making things simple for me. I can barely figure out
: how to use all these Apple Mouse buttons. :)
: 1) OK, but if you're good, you deserve some bucks. But I guess you
: don't want bucks, you'd rather gloat (or defend a gloater in this case).
I'd like bucks, but I'm a realist. It's not gonna happen in this
market.
I don't believe I have done one bit of gloating, so you're
treading way off course there. And I wasn't defending a gloater. I
was saying that you were out of line for what you said.
: 2) Thanks for letting me know Ian has been offended, I have trespassed
: on most holy ground. Wow, Ian is so big he doesn't even have to hit
: a key, someone else can do it for him.
I didn't say Ian was offended.. I said _I_ was offended. I'm
not Ian. He takes enough crap that he's probably beyond the point of
getting offended. And I also find your implications that I am some
kind of underling for Ian offensive too. I agree with him
on some subjects, and programming just happens to be one of them.
: 3) I am sure the program is I have yet to be disappointed.
: 3b) Name someone who doesn't like you. I didn't know csa2 was so small
: that people could make personal contact, see each other's faces, and
: like/dislike each other. Maybe I need a newer nn. :)
I never said people don't like me. I never even implied it.
I don't know about you, but I have met several of the people
on csa2, but you don't have to meet someone to like or not like them.
: I guess I shouldn't have made the Microsoft analogy, I don't want to
: get on a tangent of a tangent. Oops. The people who slam Microsoft
: are people who know better. But there's another 110 million people who
: own Pee Cees that keep buying the stuff because of good marketing
: (and attitude).
Even Microsoft wouldn't make much money in the Apple II
market. Of course, most of the people in the Apple II community do
know better.
: I was out of line for asking Ian for a release date like I did.
: I apologize publically. Is there anything else you'd like to say?
Why do people write a flame, and then apologize for a previous
post at the end?
