***HOW DO I CHANGE "BINARY" FILES TO "MACINTOSH APPLICATION" FILES?*

I have been experimenting with the BinHexed HyperCard ][gs files for a
few days now. When I convert them with GScii+, they are supposed to become
Macintosh applications.(self extracting archives)...but all I ever get from
GScii+ is a bunch of binary files. When I put a Mac disk with a Mac applica-
tion in my disk drive and go to "Icon Info" after selecting the file, it will
tell me that it is a Mac application. When I select that same file, and use
Bill Tudor's "More Info" FinderExtra, it tells me that the file has a file-t
ype of "$00"...BUT! when I change the file-type of the file I converted with
GScii+ from "BIN" to "$00", it will not register as a Macintosh application
when I go to icon info (it registers as "Unknown"!?!?!)

Is there a way to make it register as
a Mac application????????? Is my logic behind this all wrong?

Thanks for any help!
