Terrible news indeed. My condolences go out to Joe's family and
friends.

It surprised the heck out of me to hear this news as Joe was only
posting here on c.s.a2 a month or 2 back regarding the sale of his
Mark Twain IIgs. I was not aware of his illness and to hear of his
death comes as a bit of a shock.

My only hope is that Joe made some arrangements for his Apple II stuff
to be controlled by someone who will appreciate and use it for the
good of the community. As far as I know, Joe was still selling a
number of Apple II titles (mostly IIgs I think) and it was only a
couple of years ago that I made a purchase from him. Hopefully these
titles will not be lost, and that the Mark Twain can be passed/sold
onto someone who will use it for the benefit of the A2 community (and
not stash it away in some private collection).

Joe - thanks for all your contributions and may you rest in peace.
