Either get the Zilog manual for it or get AMD's Personal Computer
Products data book, since AMD also makes the 8530.  That data book
will tell you all you need to know.

You won't be able to use the chip with DMA on the IIgs though since
the rest of the system wasn't designed to use the SCC's DMA mode.
