Yes, as Jawaid said, the new card will be about $180.  Well, that's
about what the "educational discount introductory price" is going
to be according to Sequential.  I guess we'll see where it goes
from there.  Dealer pricing is not yet available, so we may see it
somewhat cheaper from various Sequential resellers.

(For example, the Sequential list price for a 4MB GS-RAM card is like
$200, the direct discount price is $160, and the lowest reseller I've
seen has the card for about $130.  So, I figure that resellers that buy
in quantity from Sequential (like the one for 4MB for $130) may sell
the Second Sight card for $150-$160.  Well, at least I hope something
like that happens!

Oh yeah, they told me today that the release date should be around the
end of October and that resellers would receive a fax about it at that
time.  I'm sure someone will post when they get their fax (well, if no
one else does, then I will!)...
