Ok, first of all you totally misunderstood Ian's email. I will let
Ian explain what he meant to you, but he was not asking the _Official_
released versions of AZ/MZ or the irc disks to be removed, but some
uploads that were illegally changed versions of them.
Now on the other hand, if Ian _did_ want those files to be removed,
since Ian does own the copyright to those files (or shares the
copyright in the case of the irc disks), you could definately be
prosecuted legally for not removing them. It is the right of the
copyright holder to determine where and how his/her files may be
distributed.
As for noisetracker GS sources, the _original_ versions of these
sources are public domain as I understand. Ian however releaased a
versino with his changes and he could ask for that version to be
removed as he does own partial copyright to it.
: I wish Ian and Charles would settle this between themselves and not
: involve grind and the whole apple2 community. Advice/suggestions
: please!
I believe the problem lies purely in the attempt of Dr. Tom to anger
Ian. Dr. Tom is known for being a mule's rear end.
