Image writer II

Greetings!

I'm trying to setup shipping labels on a Apple ImageWriter II, using 
Aldus Illistrator.  I'm having problems with the printer, it keeps 
form feeding (assuming 11" paper) and wasting 2 labels.

Is there any way that I can prevent this from happening?
