Just thought I'd drop a note to let you know that I have available a
program for the Macintosh which will decode Binscii'd files back to
binary. I wrote this program about 3 years ago with the intention
of posting it to the net. Now I actually have the chance. Anyway,
the program is limited in its function, but here's a list of features:
------------------------------------

Commbin
(V0.5 - 4/1/91)

A Binscii Decoding Utility
for the Macintosh

------------------------------------
This version 0.5 is the latest as of 9/94.
Features
o FREEWARE
o Decodes Apple // BINSCII files
o Handles "chopped" or segmented files
o Graphical display tells which segments of a file
have been decoded. Thermometer shows the progress
of the decoding process.
o Keeps track of up to TEN partially completed files.
Will place segments into the appropriate open file
automatically.
o Will prompt the user if he quits while files are
partially completed.
This program should run an any Mac. The program is FREEWARE. If you are
interested, send me an e-mail message and we'll figure out the best
way to deliver the program. Thanks.
