Dump the ISSI srams and try some low power Japanese or American
srams.  Low power srams usually have a LP or P as part of the
part number.  I've tried ISSI and would never recommend them.
I haven't had any success with any non-Japanese or non-American
srams.

Was this the brand included in the package or recommended by the
instructions?  If so, could you post the instructions (if it's
ok with the author)?  I'd like to see what else it has to say.
