appleII dsp card comming soon... anyone still interested?

It has been some time since I posted any info on the AppleII dsp card
I have been working on. This posting is to find out the current level
of interest. As this project is being done for the AppleII network
community with lots of suggestions along the way, I have included a
survey at the end that I would like to have anyone interested in
purchasing a board fill out. Of course if I get lots of positive
responses I will complete the board soon, but if I am not able to sell
the boards I produce to get back the expenses of making the board, I
will not consider doing any more AppleII related projects.

What can be completed in the near future is the following:

DSP processor board with a 40Mhz Motorola dsp56002 processor, pads on the
board to add connectors to external devices for the full processor bus and
the serial ports. Possibly a RS232 interface chip. A memory mapped 8 bit
appleII interface through the dsp56002 host port.
This interface would NOT support DMA.
All dsp memory is internal to the chip.
Targeted price $150 US.

A second option would be to complete the AppleII interface with full DMA
support, but I expect that to do so would delay the board by 6 months to
a year. Also the price would be closer to $200.

The external memory has been removed for cost reasons. To add external memory
would make the board price be above $500!

Software: There are several people on the net working on porting tools to the
AppleII to support the dsp. If you have access to a unix box there is an
assembler on the net for this dsp. Also the GNU C compiler can produce code
for the 56002.
