AOL Apple ][gs software...is it public domain???

       I have been an Apple ][gs user for a very long time, but never an
America Online user...simply because I never knew that there was software out
there for my GS.  I know that AOL is discontinuing their Apple ][ support, and
I realize that the Apple ][ software will not work with their new setup......
but, I would love to get ahold of the AOL software for the GS just for the
sake of having it.  I know it won't do me much good, but I love collecting
nostalgic pieces of software.  (Also a friend doesn't believe that AOL would
have actually make software for the ][ anyway---I want to prove him wrong!)
I don't know much about the copyright laws on the AOL software, but if it's
legal, I would GREATLY appreciate it if someone would e-mail me the software,
post it to an FTP site, etc...


I hope my question/request isn't too stupid...
