	Interesting you mention this.  From the letters section of the
current issue of 2600 Magazine:

	I've heard tell that Woz's ill-fated CL-9 universal remote
	control was used to hack a traffic signal system. [...]
	The express busses there sent an infrared signal to sensors
	mounted somewhere in the vicinity of the intersection which
	changed the lights from red to green. [...]  Some
	enterprising folks put a CL-9 into "learn" mode, captured
	the signal and then using the CL-9's wildly powerful
	transmitter, were able to zip through properly configured
	traffic signals with a click of the channel changer.
