Since there seems to be some confusion about the availability
and usability of various apple emulators for various platforms,
below is a copy of the apple iie emulator faq.
This will tell you where to find apple emulators, how to run
them and how to convert your disks.
I've got linux binaries and source for nulib if anyone wants it.

The FAQ list of apple ][ emulator has changed a lot. Get a copy of the
recent FAQ list of comp.emulators.apple2 from rtfm.mit.edu. The old
FAQ list posted does not include some new emulators ( including mine :) )
and updated version of old emulators. BTW, even the FAQ list just posted
in early August is outdated. Mike O'Brien has made his Window based emulator
available for beta testing and it is the best emulator I have ever seen
on PC's. Things are changing fast in comp.emulators.apple2.
