AAAAARG! Unshrinking system 6.0.1 disks...

I know this is another repeat question, but I have a little different
twist. I want to decompress and install system 6.0.1... Simple enough,
I know I need the latest GS Shrinkit because of some problem with the
disk image for the 6.0.1 install disk (I think that's the story, anyway).
So, I downloaded the newest GS Shrinkit, but I can't run it because it
says I'm missing something from my system (doesn't actually tell me what,
just that I'm missing something). It suggests that I install at least
system version 5.0.3, which I thought I had ... So what I need is Shrinkit
to install the latest system software, but shrinkit says I need a newer
system to run... ARGGGG! I want to get SOMETHING to work during my time
off from school... Any suggestions? I'd hate to ask someone to shrink
the install disk (all the others decompressed fine for me) using an older
version of shrinkit and mail it to me, but I can't think of anything else,
unless someone knows what the latest version of shrinkit is most likely
whining about...

Again, any scraps somebody can throw me would be really appreciated.
