I just dropped a bunch of programs on c.b.a2; they're mostly
updates to a bunch of Desk Accessories (Classic and New) that I
wrote a long time back, and have finally got around to starting
to update them...
Version 2.0 of Inverter, a Freeware CDA to flip the screen
colors, and make sure they stay that way, has these new features:
- User interaction
- Saving of Preferences
- Reducing or eliminating system time usage
- Boot icon.
This update was prompted by a request for these features by William
R. Hall; if and when people ask for updates, I try and accomodate
them. It may be hard to believe this, but I have gotten more letters
containing shareware $ than regular letters of encouragement.
Shouldn't it be the other way around? Why don't you try to reverse
this trend? (Though, sending $ is always appreciated also ;)
There are also minor updates to the other files, like matching
up all the icons with their target files, remembering to include
one NDA I mention, and splitting the CDAs off from the NDAs
These files hav also been posted to the usual ftp sites,
cco.caltech.edu, and grind.isca.uiowa.edu, as well as a new ftp area
(ok, Joe, you were a few days clairvoyant in mentioning it ;)
set up specifically to hold my programs, ugcs.caltech.edu in the
pub/nathan directory. If you'd rather not ftp, drop by my www home
page at: http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~nathan/
