Only if you think that's funny - in which case, I don't envy you. I think
I'd rather be dead than to have a crippled sense of humour. I'd certainly
rather drink lye _and_ stick needles in my eyes. And I'd much rather
watch YOU drink lye, while _I_ stuck needles in YOUR eyes. But I promise
you faithfully - I wouldn't laugh while I did it: it might be fun, but it
wouldn't be funny.

Thus speaks the most despicable of bar-room braggarts - one who claims to
have had some part in some Great Deed, then blames somebody else for any
shortcomings in the outcome - someone who isn't present, and cannot
defend themselves.

Odd, isn't it, that such people are often the most witless, bigoted,
unforgiving, intolerant, ill-bred, bad-mannered, cowardly, pin-headed,
loud-mouthed, self-satisfied, smug, gutless, narrow-minded, loathsome and
most utterly intolerable creeps one is ever unfortunate enough to
encounter? You know, Grady, I do hope you have no friends in this world -
I'd *hate* to think that there was anyone else like you - or even, anyone
who could actually stomach being in your presence for long enough to get
wind of the psychic stink that must follow you around.

But now we get to the real meat of your posting:

You really are pushing it. To analyse your words semantically, you are
not asking a question: you are making a presumption, and phrasing it as a
rhetorical question. And your presumption is that someone who supports
the Apple II line is mentally disordered. Then you use a logical fallacy
(an excluded middle) in an attempt to link that with the pederastic
sexual practices of one individual.

Your meaning is clear - that people who are supporters of the Apple II
are baby-snatching bum-bandits.

With that, you have quite gratuitously but with deliberate intent
insulted a huge number of people whom I may never meet, but who I am
proud and honoured to call 'friend'. I defend my friends, and I would not
let insults to them go unchallenged. Moreover, I'm not a pacificist, I
don't believe in 'turning the other cheek' (unless it's to get a better
angle from which to retaliate) - I'm not even a Christian. I'm vicious,
bad-tempered, combative and utterly loyal to my friends. I only wish that
we didn't live in a society that forbids formal duelling - I'd dearly
love to call you out for that insult. Not for myself, but on behalf of my
friends. Of course, they may not wish me to take such a belligerent
attitude on their behalf - in which case, I'd enjoy doing it on my own
account.

So what? You don't care what I think - but let me remind you: there's
more of us than there are of you. I just hope that one day, you'll be
old, sad, and lonely, and you won't find anyone to turn to. But being the
sort of person that it is so self-evident that you are, I can be
completely confident that this _will_ happen.
