Every time I mention that I publish a newsletter about the Apple II
computer, the flames start, so let me go put on my asbestos underware. Hold
on a sec...

Gosh. These things are itchy. In any case....

I've been publishing a 20 page bi-monthly newsletter for over a year. In
Issue #3, I opened the Internet floodgates, and wrote a very long article
about the Internet, what it is, how to access it, and what to do once
you've gotten a net account. In a sense, that article served as an
introduction, and every issue since then has had articles and items about
the Internet, including information on using ncftp and using lynx to access
the world wide web. I intend to continue to cover the internet, in the same
way that I cover the major online commercial networks.

With the name "Shareware Solutions II", telecomm from an Apple II
perspective is only one area I cover. It's a general interest (I hope)
newsletter, with news, reviews, hints/tips, bug reports, easter eggs, etc.
it's "all Apple II, all the time." Oh, and of course, each issue reviews
Apple II freeware and shareware.

I'm generally more than happy to share anything I know about the Apple II
with my fellow Apple II users. I do so quite often on GEnie's A2, but let
me just say that i have been flamed so much here on c.s.a2, I feel like I
have to watch my mouth with what I say.

It has been stated to me by many people that it is inappropriate for me to
talk about using the net on c.s.a2. To quote the Stones, I feel like "I'm
stuck between a rock and a hard place." I have a lot of valuable
information, but the consensus is that folks around here don't want to hear
it. At least, that's the message that has come through loud and clear.
