GS Towerizing and crashes

I also have a prob. I have had my IIGS in a mid tower for over 2 yrs and
have experienced the problem of not being able to format HFS disks or
read MSdos disks or even have the hard drive working properly sometimes.
I found that even though I slowed my IIGS to normal, it still sometimes
did these things. I found that a lot of my probs were or still are heat
related. Even though I have a fan in the computer and the thermostat is
set at 70 F, I still can develop heat because of the RAM and PCXT cards
and Drive controller being next to each other.

I also had to sadly go back to the Apple drive card due to some probs
between the ZipGS and the RamFast cards. I don't know much about the
software, but I do know that mine are hardware related probs that I
cannot any longer fix. Heck, I wasted 2 apple drives trying to fit them
into my computer before finally just sticking one in, case and all, and
creating an external port for external floppies.

At least the wife's computer works properly. But it is a slow machine
with almost no RAM.

Anyawy, this msg is for those who think that they may have similar probs
with their GSes. I have seen at least one post here regarding this. I
hope this helps.
