Scott,
Try FTPing to cco.caltech.edu and get into their apple2/8bit/comm directory...
you'll find a few comm programs like agate, comm8, kermit,zlink, and even a demo
of PT3.1. Surely one of these will do the trick.
Others more knowledgeable about this specific machine might have specific
recommenfdations as to which to use. There are other programs in the
plain old /comm directory (not 8bit/comm, just palain /comm) but others
will have to advise as to their suitability.
If you find you can't use the Echo Speech Synthesizer, let me knoew for I have
an interest in acquiring one of these...I think they made a separate model
for my ][GS, tho'.
