In high school, frustration from working with Borland Pascal on old IBM
8088 coomputers finally causes several students to temporarily lose their
sanity and patience with the curriculum ...
A worm is added to the teacher's hard drive which is rigged to go off on a
certain date. This program, lasting approximately five minutes, comes
complete with sound effects to get everyone's attention and displays
graphics on the monitor and an overhead projector attached to the computer
for the whole class to see.
Our "corner" was split up over that one, and the teacher's computer is
thereafter declared "off limits" to students. We did manage to weasel our
way back together into the corner, though. :-)
