Purchase info

I am looking for recommendations/info on buying a few new items.  I plan on
buying a 4 MEG ramcard for my GS in a few days.  I saw an add for an August
special for $119 (can't find the post right now but) that was pretty good, I
also read through the Alltech literature for one also.  I think quality has one
too.  Are there any big differences I should be looking at?  Also, in the
Alltech flyer it mentions sommething about 4 meg ram card for a total of 5
megs.  I was under the impression that I had to take out my old card to add a
4 meg card.  Do some make my GS 4meg and another that will give me 5meg?  How
about DMA compatibility, etc.  

The next thing to buy is a CD ROM.  I saw the Apple CD150 for $199 (old ad)
thats pretty cheap.  Is this a slow CD ROM?  Should I save up and buy a faster
one?  Is this a multispeed (Photo CD etc).  I have a feeling that its not.
I want something that is pretty fast, will play music as well as PhotoCD and CD
ROM for the //gs (disQuest).

Right now I have a GS ROM 01, RAMFAST SCSI D (3.01e), Tsunami 170 MB HD (ext),
Apple 3.5, Disk ][ 5.25, and a PC Transporter.  If you have any recommendations
or some good product info you wanna pass on, I'd really appreciate it.
