//gs control panel changes

I'm posting this for a member of our local Apple User Group that doesn't
have access to the Internet.

I thought I remembered seeing a program come across the 'binaries' group
a couple of weeks back that will allow you to make changes to the Apple
//gs control panel without re-booting.

What this member of our user group wants to do is be able to select
either "your card" or "printer port" on the fly.

Is there something that will do this available?  If so, what is the
filename and on what ftp site can it be located?
