Wanted: ROM 3 CDA patch

I have one of those ROM 3s (reason unknown) where at boot-up the
GS invokes the programmer CDAs regardless of the bit settings in bRAM.
Apparently the GS checks a vaule at location E1/017D in the slow-RAM bank
and if 'FF' is present, the CDAs are invoked, if '00' is found they're not.
The GS *should* have the '00' vaule when doing a cold-boot, but something is
affecting my GS and setting them to 'FF' -- thus I always have the two CDAs:
'Visit Monitor' and 'Memory Peeker' in my ROM 3's control panel.

However, there is a way to remove the CDAs. I discovered by entering
'* E1/017D:00' from Monitor, and then doing a warm boot, the CDAs are removed!
Unfortunately, this is only temporary and as soon as I power down my GS, the
'FF' vaule returns at location E1/017D and so do the CDAs. Now then, rather
than having to enter the '00' vaule into Monitor _each time_ I power up my GS,
could someone write me a simple INIT patch that would do this? Someone wrote
one in the past, called "BadROM3", but all it does is force the CDAs out so
they return after a warm-boot. What I need is some sort of patch that modifies
the vaule at E1/017D from FF->00. It probably won't take affect until I warm
boot *after* System 6 has loaded, but it's better than nothing (of course if
there's a way to make it work w/o a warm-boot once the vaule is changed, that'd
be great. :)

[BTW, before someone suggests it, System 6.0.1's SetStart CDev has no affect.
As I mentioned earlier, my GS ignores the vaules in bRAM is sets]
