If the original poster is not into hardware hackery, his best bet
might be to trade up the Apple card for a RAMFast (either through
a net.sale or LRO Sales).  It guarantees no more terminator power
problems, and is so much faster in ProDOS-8 it's sick (GSOS shows
no speedier access), and it lets you boot any partition or SCSI device,
and it has utils in ROM you can always get to.
