Need VT100 software (HELP!)

Hey folks.  A while ago I came to you because a friend wanted to get a couple 
of modem cables for a couple of //c's.  Well come to find out that his terminal
software is way old and he now needs a package that does VT100.  Can someone 
tell me what we can do?  Is there something PD we can use?  The simpler the better
for this guy.  Also, how can I get it?  I looked on the net and found some stuff 
but of course I had no way to download it onto his machine!  Ideally I would
find something on 5.25.  Heck I am living in Silicon Valley, I could go down the 
street and knock on Apple's door, if I knew who to talk to.   Is there an 
active user's group in the bay area that has a pile of shareware/pd software?

Any other ideas out there?   Titles I should be looking for?
