RamFast SCSI safe w/o any devices?

I just ordered a CV-RamFast SCSI (rev D/v3.01e) which will be coming
in about a week, but I'm wondering if it's _safe_ to install it inside my
GS without having it connected to a hardrive or any SCSI devices. I will
of course have a hardrive soon, by it may be awhile and I don't know how
the RamFast will act if there's no devices connected (will it cause any
conflicts or damage the card?)

Only reason I'm asking this is, a few years back Drew Vogan posted
a warning to _not_ leave powered-down SCSI hardrives connected to your
RamFast card. That nothing will happen at first, but after many attempts
of powering on the GS with the hardrive off you could eventually fry the card...
If this true, would it also apply to leaving the card plugged in slot-7
(connected to nothing!) while I use my GS for the next couple of weeks?
Don't want to damage the card before I even have an HD! ;-)
