Well, I can remember a time (around 1990) when all the Mac magazine writers
were complaining about how Apple just wasn't keeping up and how long it took
Apple to come out with a new computer with new technology. I believe it was
John C. Dvorak (or was it Guy Kawasaki?) who compared when a new Mac was
released (once a year) to when Sony comes out with a new walkman (once a
month). So Apple picks up the pace and ironically people complain. I admit
for everybody but those who love to memorize how much VRAM every Mac model
comes with and can take, keeping track of it all (and trying to figure out
which model to buy) is impractical. On the other hand, I've been waiting
for a pace like this for a long time (from a non-consumer orieted
standpoint). Its good to see nobody is calling Apple slow when it comes to
new Mac models...
