I am new to the group, I have been a long time Apple II user as most
of the group probably are. I have decided to dust off a few old
machines and get them going again (2e,2c,2gs). I just kitted out my GS
Rom3 with a Uthernet card and CF card drive. Now the problem, I can't
get the Marinetti drivers onto the machine. I figured that ADTPro
looked the easiest. I got it working so that I can bootstap it with
the serial client but when I go to receive the client to a disk it
asks for the filename, which appears to be ADTPRO-1.1.3.DSK but once I
type that in the ADTPro client says "WAITING FOR HOST RELY" and then
just sits there.
Do the images need to be in a specific directory? Do I need to
initiate anything from the server??
Any help is greatly appreciated. Once I get this working I will
certainly have a lot more questions as I have also dusted off my
MicroPrint localtalk to 10BaseT adapter and also an Apple III that has
not seen action ever. I aslo have a few 2GS prototypes but they have
hardware issues that are a bit beyond me at the moment.
Any help is appreciated.
